Pomegranate NFC Juice 15-16%
IQG Foods produces not-from-concentrate pomegranate juice in Egypt at 15-16% Brix. The fruit is pressed, pasteurised and filtered, then filled into aseptic storage with the oxygen stripped from the product. No water removed, no additives, no preservatives — single-strength juice held for 18 months at ambient temperature.

The Widest Ratio We Supply
The Brix-acid ratio on this juice runs 23 to 64. That is an unusually wide band, and it is worth understanding before buying.
Pomegranate varies more than any fruit we handle. The same orchard produces sharp fruit early in the season and markedly sweeter fruit three weeks later, and the acid falls faster than the sugar climbs. A ratio of 23 is a tart juice that cuts through a blend; a ratio of 64 is round enough to drink on its own.
Acidity runs 0.25 to 0.65 with pH between 3.0 and 3.70, and that is low — lower than orange, and far lower than pomegranate concentrate, which concentrates the acid along with everything else.
For a buyer that means specifying the end of the range you need rather than taking the band. Tell us which side of the ratio suits your formulation and we press to it, rather than shipping whatever the week produced.
Why Pomegranate Resists Concentration
Most juice ships as concentrate because water is expensive to move. Pomegranate is the fruit where that calculation most often goes the other way.
The colour is the reason. Deep ruby red comes from anthocyanins, and anthocyanins are heat sensitive — concentrating under vacuum degrades them, and the juice drifts toward brown. The flavour follows. A reconstituted pomegranate juice is recognisably not the same drink.
NFC avoids the question entirely. Nothing is boiled off, so nothing degrades, and what reaches the drum is the juice that came off the press at 15-16% Brix.
Oxygen is stripped from the product during aseptic filling, which is what lets an unconcentrated juice hold 18 months at ambient temperature with no preservatives and no cold chain. For a buyer importing across a long route, that removes refrigeration cost entirely while keeping the colour that makes the fruit worth buying.
